Prof. Xiaoyang Tong,Southwest Jiaotong University,China

Xiaoyang Tong received the B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees from the Southwest Jiaotong University, Chengdu, Sichuan, China, in 1993, 1996, and 2007, respectively. He is a Professor with the School of Electrical Engineering, Southwest Jiaotong University. He has headed the project of a National Nature Foundation and participates in a number of projects of National Nature Foundation and provincial science and technology. His research interests are wide-area protection and location, Analysis of Cascading Outages, energy internet, smart substation. He has published 160 papers, which include 100 paper of SCI, EI and ISTP. He has gotten 42 patents for invention.
